Individual Therapy

I specialize in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and I work jointly with clients to overcome barriers, like anxiety and depression, and build a healthier life.  My treatment approach sometimes also draws from mindfulness-based therapies and to create a personalized program to meet the needs of each individual.  Treatment is supportive, collaborative and focuses on developing strategies to help you better manage challenges situations or overwhelming emotions so that you have greater freedom to pursue your values and goals.

How I will help you

I use techniques that are backed by research, such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), exposure and response prevention (ERP), prolong exposure (PE), cognitive processing therapy (CPT), ACT and mindfulness.  We will work together to understand beliefs or behavior patterns that hold you back in life.  With compassion and support, I will work with you to develop practical coping skills you can use to feel better, manage stressful situations, face your fears, cope with uncertainty and live your life with more freedom.
